Entertaiment – The Fall 2011 Issue of Transformational Entertainment News
Entertaining is an activity that holds the interest and attention of an audience or gives pleasure and delight. It can be an idea or a task, but is more likely to be one of the activities or events that have developed over thousands of years specifically for the purpose of keeping audiences’ attention and giving them pleasure. The word “entertain” is derived from the Medieval Latin intertenere, which means to hold inside. The prefix inter is used to mean inside, and the suffix ten comes from the Indo-European root ten, which means to stretch.
